Saturday Morning Shows. La Peña Cultural Center invites families to turn off the television and enjoy live musical performances each Sat. On April 4, Bonnie Lockhart and Fran Avni perform original songs for kids of all ages. Mariela and Monica entertain with Spanish songs on April 11, and the Andean music group Los Mapaches performs music from Peru and Bolivia on April 18. Betsy Rose closes out the series on April 25 with songs of peace and respect in celebration of Earth Day.
